Oranges

Orange comes from the clan of the tribe Rutaceae Citrus. This fruit has a sour taste and fresh, some of which have a sweet taste. Acidic taste comes from citric acid. 
 Country of origin is the East Asia and Southeast Asia, stretching from Japan to the south until then veering westward toward the eastern India. Sweet oranges and lemons came from East Asia, while grapefruit, lemon and lime from Southeast Asia. The fruit is widely used by many people as food, fragrances, and industrial. Oranges are also a source of vitamin C that contain fragrances / perfumes that are useful. The leaves can also be used as a spice. Aside from being a source of vitamin C, oranges also contain ascorbic acid. Vitamin C in oranges helps prevent canker sores, swelling, bleeding gums, speed up recovery after illness, smooths the skin and also strengthens our immune system. in addition there is also the content of beta carotene (Pro Vitamin A) and Thiamin (vitamin B1). Vitamin C in orange on the inside of his skin and in small granules flesh. Below is a list of some vitamins and functionality that exist in citrus :
  1. Vitamin C serves to boost the immune system, strengthen the body's tissues - blood vessels and bone, help repair damaged tissue, and helps absorption of iron.
  2. Carotene serves to maintain healthy eyes and skin and helps the formation of bone.
  3. Thiamin serves to transform carbohydrates into glucose which serves as energy for the nervous system and brain and reduce the risk of cataracts.
Excess other citrus is a source of minerals, rich in calcium, phosphorus, potassium and iron. Minerals function is to aid the formation of bones and teeth, helps blood clotting problems, and stabilize the muscles and nervous reactions. Sweet Oranges contain bioflavonoids that act as antioxidants that prevent cancer, limonoids help boost the immune system and prevent cancer as well.
